Itinerary

Day 1: Start From Dehradun.

The Chardham yatra by helicopter 2022 starts from Haridwar or Dehradun.

Day 2: Yamunotri Dham.

Drive to reach Sahastradhara Helidrome and land at Kharsali Heli-Base. On reaching Kharsali, check-in at the hotel and head to the Yamunotri temple. It takes approximately 05hrs 30mins by road to reach the Yamunotri temple- a 06 km one-way trek. You can visit Yamuna Mata Temple, hot springs near the Yamunotri Temple, and the Shani Temple. After offering your prayers, return to Kharsali for dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Gangotri Dham.

From Kharsali Heli Base, fly to reach Harsil on the 3rd day of your Chardham yatra tour package by helicopter. On reaching Harsil, check in at the hotel for breakfast and some rest. Now, drive 25 km for 50 mins to reach Gangotri. After completing the darshan of the Gangotri Temple, return to the hotel at Harsil for dinner & an overnight stay.

Day 4: Kedarnath Dham.

Leave Harsil for Sersi. When in Sersi, check in at the hotel. After breakfast, board the shuttle for Kedarnath- a 7 mins flight from Sersi. On arrival at the helipad, walk a few minutes to reach the Kedarnath Temple for darshan. You will need approximately 2 Hrs for the darshan. On your trip here, you can visit Triyuginarayan Temple and Gaurikund. You can stay the night either at Sersi or Kedarnath.

Day 5: Badrinath Dham.

Fly for Badrinath from the Sersi helipad. Check-in at the hotel in Sersi. Visit the Badrinath Temple in the afternoon. On your excursion to Badrinath Dham, you can visit Mana Village, the hot springs, and enjoy the evening aarti at Badrinath.

Day 6: Back To Dehradun.

On the 6th Chardham yatra day, attend the Maha Abhishek Pooja at the Badrinath Temple at 4:30 AM. You can attend the 2 hr abhishek ceremony on request at extra Char Dham yatra package cost. Return back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, fly back to Dehradun and conclude your Char Dham yatra package by helicopter.

The Best Time To Visit Char Dham

The best time to go for your Chardham yatra by helicopter is from April through the first half of June. This is the best time to visit, as the region experiences brilliant weather. The flora thrives gorgeous- giving you a splendid view. In summers, the temperatures average between 5 to 35° Celsius.

It is best to avoid the rainy season, that is, from June to September. The region during this time remains very vulnerable to landslides. September to mid-November is comparatively safe to travel again. Winters generally last from November to March.
