The Best Time To Visit Char Dham

The best time to go for your Chardham yatra by helicopter is from April through the first half of June. This is the best time to visit, as the region experiences brilliant weather. The flora thrives gorgeous- giving you a splendid view. In summers, the temperatures average between 5 to 35° Celsius.

It is best to avoid the rainy season, that is, from June to September. The region during this time remains very vulnerable to landslides. September to mid-November is comparatively safe to travel again. Winters generally lasts from November to March. The Char Dham temple darshan remains closed during this time as the temperatures here fall below zero degrees and snowfall becomes frequent. The Chardham yatra by helicopter makes the trip safer. However, it is best to avoid the winters for your yatra.
